MisterCranky: Yes, I have. It was John Postgate, III who had transferred to UCLA from West Point, and had had some paratroop training. The drop was about 20 or 25 feet onto sand, and he randomly decided to demo to us, his new roommates, the 47-point roll, or however many points it has, for distributing the force cleverly along your body when you land hard with a parachute. He was unscathed, and we were all suitably impressed.
