skelebone: How do you store your games (i.e. positioning, sorting, stacking)?

ocdspectrum: Vertical. In kallax and in glass curio cabinets.
ricardofo: Most are on shelves, closets or chests. I do not use any sort of order. Strategic & Tactics games are housed in the magazines themselves inside ziplocks and stored in plastic boxes.
Leo-T: However they'll most efficiently fit on the shelves.
sennaho: I store my games in shelves on the side. A couple of games that I don't ever play but don't want to get rid of are "hidden" away in closets.
oldhoss: Vertically like books on a bookshelf, except for the really big boxes.
Felimid: A mixture of all three ... but not simultaneously for each game.
Woelf: Horizontally, on shelves.
myrm: On shelves, stacked on similar sized boxes to fill the shelf - where they fit at the time.

Rindu: On a bookshelf, but my SPI flatpacks are in a box. They are chronological by period covered. If I have two or more games of the same period, then if a game is of a larger scope and another, it is placed to the left. Thus I have Grand Illusion, then Clash of Giants II, then Landships.
DHEK: Right now they're mostly stored standing up in a big box. I don't have that many games.

Gecko23: Currently most of them are in two bookcases, sitting on their sides. Previously they were in one bookcase, in any direction that would work. :)

Russ G.: Sorted by company and era. Bookshelf games are upright, flatpacks and the AH flats are, well, stored flat. The 'playing' copy of ASL is in a large carry-all, the backup copies of ASL are in the upstairs store room. Games in progress are in trays, and those are in the game table.

CDRodeffer: Those that I can, I stand vertically. Once the shelf space is full, I stack according to box size and shape. Small stuff like tuck boxes get tossed into a big tub.

skelebone: Right now, a lot of my games are stacked on top of my dresser, but my idealized storage will have games of like types together on bookshelves.
