OldestManOnMySpace: It depends on what sort of game comoponent it is made into. Plastic is good for things that are pretty square and do not have thin parts, but it is too breakable for things with lots of tiny thin parts jutting out.
DHEK: Better than paper. But wood is best, unless high details are required, in which case I think only plastic can do it well (and not cost a bomb).
