purplewurple: Joshua Miller (Glamorous Mucus). He's harsher and less patient then I am, when it comes to new games, and there are several games he doesn't like that I do. But there are very, very few games that he loves that I don't. There's a wide variety of games that we both rate a 10, such as Tichu, C&C: Ancients, Mage Knight, Through the Ages and Tigris and Euphrates. Plus, his comments are always insightful.
tankexmortis: Some of my geekbuddies have quite a lot of weight, yes.
Woelf: "Angilan", since a large portion of my game plays are with her. If she doesn't like a game, it's far less likely to ever get played.
Aleyd: Hubby, he's the one person guaranteed to be playing with me.
pwilz: I only have one geekbuddy, so I guess this doesn't apply to me.

matthewjhoskins: Not so much. My GBs are people I know in RL or people who generate interesting content. I usually decide to buy a game based on RL game sessions or demos.

CDRodeffer: If the people I play with frequently already own the game, I'm less likely to buy a copy for myself. But if my far-away buddies give a game mad props and no one nearby has one, I'm much more likely to buy.
chaddyboy_2000: You probably own the most games that I don't own, so I can play your games before deciding if I want them. For example, I decided that I don't want Danger Guy after playing your copy.

CortexBomb: Absolutely, Fawkes and Verandi are very important to me because our taste in games is almost identical, hence I give them more weight
