mattyt91: Password and Taboo, probably. Though they both use "cards", I wouldn't call either one a card game. If I need to name a game that doesn't use any sort of card, I'd probably say Battleship or Boggle are the most portable in my collection.

DonO: Rock, Paper, Scissors. Hmmm now that I think of it I could probably make it even more portable. Substitue some tiny pebbles for the rocks, tiny postits for the big 9x12 sheets of thick paper, and some miniature scissors for this crate of big tin snips. For some reason I think I remember someone showing me how to play that game without any of that stuff, but I can't seem to remember how to do that. :-)
