puffinge: Tower of Babel, Louis XIV, Manila, Niagara, Australia, Around the World in 80 Days, or Oltremare? Oh, yea, and which one will break a nail first?

Felimid: Whichever one came with a hammer.

MisterCranky: Of those, I think Niagara would break the nail first, due to its incredibly finger-taxing set-up requirements. For which one I'd prefer to play on any given evening, I'll go with either Manila or Louis XIV. Oltremare just missed that category for me. Of those I own but haven't yet played, Australia is the sole winner. Of those I've played and already forgotten--Tower of Babel wins. Those I don't own but have played is solely occupied by Niagara, and, finally, those I neither own nor have played, but would like to play, consists entirely of Around the World in 80 Days.

DHEK: I've only tried Around the World in 80 Days and I wasn't impressed with that game. I don't see the relevance of the 2nd question to the 1st so I'd say I don't know.

CortexBomb: Louis and Tower are both solid...Louis probably being the better of the two for me. Oltermare is just ok. Around the World was flat out average. I haven't played the others.

Randy Cox: I've played only one of these (Around the World in 80 Days) and I thought it was a fine little game (others at the table did not agree).

I don't think any of these games have nails -- I think the punts in Manila are just solid blocks, not constructed ships.
