Hector Vortac: The job I had for 17 years: 5 miles, 14 minute drive in L.A. My daily job the last two summers: around 8 miles, 25 minute drive in Vegas. Two week job in NC: 1/2 half mile walk along a highway with no sidewalk most of the way, 15 minutes.
