¿Question #3936?
skelebone: Of the games you own, which is heaviest by theme and mechanisms?

RealGuest: I've weeded out most of the virtually unplayable games in that regard. I'd have to throw out there Paths of Glory, Fortress Europa, or Blood Bowl depending on your metrics.
GrimJester: Squad Leader by a mile. It's a "6" on the 1 to 5 scale. I'm not sure if I still own it anymore though... I think I might still have the original game somewhere.
popsicola: AH
Pithagoras: Merchants and Marauders. It also has the heaviest box weight.
caise: world at war
Freelunchpirate: Through the Ages, ofcurse!
Jatoha: my games are very light, if I tell you the heaviest, you will think I am lame.
Phil Fleischmann: Probably Civilization/Advanced Civilization.
Woelf: Caylus, probably. By weight it's either N-Tropy or PitchCar.
Hendal: the ones i have not played yet I am sure
Der Ubermolch: The Fury of Dracula
Zarion of Arabel: NiE
Polgara: revolution the dutch revolt
DKahnt: Age of Steam
smittenkitten: ASL - I can't even get through the first page of the binder.
Thegreatrob: heaviest by weight hordes
aleo09: haven't played all my games yet. which is an absolute shame.
MBarratt: Assyrian Wars
DHEK: Twilight Imperium, 3rd edition.
malloc: Pax Romana
scriptorum: Ambush.
TKRKS: TI3
Leo-T: ASL
travillaintim: Squad Leader - ASL et al.
W Eric Martin: Die Macher.
SisyphusX: War of the Ring.
Burnham: Well, I'll never play it, but I own MBT which has 50+ pages of rules (including rules for 3 or 4 different types of search lights). I guess for theme it would have to be something like Warhammer 40,000. The theme is what makes it so engrossing.
Dorque: ASL.
Avatar_69: Marine 2002
BeatPosse: ASL
Frankenfletch: Probably Squad Leader, though I have not yet played it.
Chris Page: Age of Renaissance or Struggle of Empires.
Helenoftroy: Lord of the Rings
RyanMC: theme = tikal, maybe power grid
bigbadsteve: probably submarine
Loquutus: Kremlin.
Recneps: Saint Petersburg.
javelin98: TI3
djlg: Vietnam 1965-75 (Victory Games)
skrutsch: Probably ASL.
e.c.r.: goa
Lord_Prussian: Civilization/Advanced Civilization
chaddyboy_2000: Wallenstein? I'm not sure.
jttm: PR
sourwyrm: not sure
CortexBomb: Theme and mechanisms? Probably Macher, it is abstracted to a not insignificant degree, but a lot of the mechanics feel right, and the uncertainty of an actual election carries over well into the system as well
CDRodeffer: Heaviest theme, probably a tie between Hammer of the Scots and Bootleggers. Heaviest mechanism has to be Go.
skelebone: Power Grid is fairly involved. I also have El Grande, but I have not played it.
