¿Question #3939?
skelebone: Do useless (i.e. junk) GeekQuestions irritate you? e.g. Someone asks 100 questions about esoteric topics, just to increase the number of questions they have asked. Also, by my own definition, this is a junk question.
ocdspectrum: Only a slight annoyance. You can always embrace the power of the random side...
pricero1: Nothing is too esoteric to be the subject of a GeekQuestion. The people here are la crème de la crème (though they may have been standing too long in the sun).
Dynamic Trio: Yes, yes they do.
binraix: NO
MisterCranky: I thought it important to implement an answer-bot as a protest against pretty much every trend in GeekQuestions. Is it working?
Jatoha: It is interesting how when this started it maybe had hopes of being useful, like geeklists can be, but also like geeklists, it was easy to turn it into something silly and laughable, I wonder how it would be to have a feature that only asked "useful" questions where people would give "useful" answers. It seems appealing in some ways, but wouldn't it be terribly boring?
Spirit of 70: Not yet. Perhaps it will in time.
hjo3: YES!
Polgara: no, i tend to give junk answers :)
Narlgoth: Ironic.
Gamedeity: OHHHH YEEAAAA!!!!!
podgorc: no
Ardos: it is a mild irritation
jtj608: no
Fairer Sex: No question is a junk question
Wibblenut: nope, dull desk jobs have aneasthetised my brain
virre: Yes, so you irritate me
sffh: ask about anything, you're interested in, answer anything, you're interested in, that's the rule
DHEK: Yes, too many junk questions, especially unamusing ones and ones that were obviously asked to raise the number of questions asked, can be annoying. But hey, it's the askers' own reputation that they are ruining.
scriptorum: Almost all GeekQuestions are useless. Most do not irritate me. Some I find humorous. Several I find worthy of sarcasm and ire. A few make me want to startup eDecapitate.com and put it to good use.
sotc77: can you repeat the question without spending more time explaining or appologising for said question.......please?
Ebon Wendigo: I don't irritate easily
POvidiusNaso: They don't irritate me.
PsyJam: Yes they do, but 'useless' is kind of a subjective term. I hate stupid questions.. I have only asked about 26 questions that I actually wanted to read the answers for. I hate questionwhores and answerwhores... stupid questions whose answers never get read, and stupid answers (ie, 'already been asked) are no better because they are useless, uninformative, and clutter up the listing. Yeah not my favourite.
aleo09: not really. they must have a lot of time on their hands to do that.
onky: yes.
2amp: yes. non-concur with "junkiness" of this question
xlorp: Don't lose sight of the knee-jerk sarcasm and general zaniness possible in answers to poorly worded questions
Cut & Space: No, in absurd questions, I see a lot of creativity. Of course some are just pointless, but not all...
stevegamer: Nah.
chockle: That's the beauty of the Never Answer button
them: Only if they are not amusing in any way - I save my irritation for more important things - like gin-less martinis for example, or American Idol. So did you ask this question only to increase your # questions?
kenk1982: yes
JDDudrey: Not at all
Tazzmann: What makes a question useless? Who is to say which questions are or are not valid?
dynoegg: yeah..um...yeah i think so.
manowarplayer: Yes they do, but not this one.
Avatar_69: Yes
Chris Page: Yes. But not necessarily meta-questions.
LemonyFresh: Very much so.
Platinum Dragon: No, questions like "Coke vs. Pepsi" irritate me, unless I can think of a witty relpy. Questions like this are fine.
bigbadsteve: no, i find them amusing, but they do seem to bother some people
BrokenNails_NZ: Yes, yes it is.
brainrob: No
Kazin: Yup, this sure is a junk question.
Tennantgamer: Yes useless questions irritate me--this is a gaming site people!
jellospike: They usually annoy me, but thay can be funny sometimes.
Timothius: True, but I 100% agree with your point.
Loquutus: Not nearly as much as they seem to bother you.
djlg: Yes. Right.
ZombyDawg: No. Sometimes it's more fun to think up a sill reply and I skip the "real" questions just to get to the junk ones. I don't keep track of the numbers anyway.
nouge: Honestly, are there any other kind?
Yollege: no
consolewa: I had higher hopes for the quality of questions overall. I'm racking up the NAs.
Bandit Ripshawd: Yes. Like this one.
snoozefest: Yes: I've decided I've had enough of stupid questions, and will stop answering when I get to 3500. Congratulations!
Lord_Prussian: Yes, somewhat. Agreed.
chaddyboy_2000: Nope, I've asked countless useless questions.
CharlieWonka: Occasionally Yes
jttm: Boring questions are junk to me
puffinge: Tell us something we don't know, skelebone.
Dave: I think these useless GeekQuestions were created solely to irritate.
skrutsch: some of them.
CortexBomb: I would say, yes, they annoy me. At least this one isn't esoteric enough to be directly referring to one member only...that is one of my major annoyances
CDRodeffer: I'm not easily irritated.
Spielfreak: no ; yes
skelebone: Junk questions make me livid.
