¿Question #3945?
skelebone: Do games that do not have a good insert irk you?

Guantanamo: No, they normally get thrown away anyway,
ptyx: yes
spcsamri: Yes.
Hendal: nope
Woelf: Only if the game actually needs an insert. Most really don't, but if it comes with one I'll try to use it.
Dormammu: Most games don't have a good insert, so I'm more surprised by those that do (Days of Wonder seems to be the leader in this area). I *am* irked when they have neither insert nor baggies (ahem, Arkham Horror).
brinksw: Yes!
Taxers: no
spartax: Nah.
Karmic_devil: OMG YES! Especially when they are intricate and look like the are supposed to make sense. Maharaja: Palace Building in India, I'm talking to you.
Dispaminite: Nope.
Harkonnen13: Yeah it does bother me. Especially when it's such a bad insert that I have to throw it away.
Hubsi1w6: Yes, a little.
Steerpike.Instance: No, I treat them with buddha like calm
Polgara: sometimes
WatchmanX2000: you really need to focus. what kind of insert?
Lou-Dawg: No I make my own if I don't like it.
Alyksandyr: No
itjoe: A little, but we tend to make do. It depends on whether the rest of the game makes up for it.
martybjsg: What is it about inserts?! I would say it does happen.
DKahnt: yes
ZiggyZambo: no
jguritza: Not really I just break out the zip lock bags
jcarvin: Yes, you'll need to trash it and then the components roll around too much.
Greedo: Nah.
hacksword: No, I just throw out the insert
DHEK: Not really. It's the gameplay that matters most.
clandaith: Nope. Just means I get out the zip lock baggies.
Geosmores: yes
Chris Page: Not necessarily. Every time I turn my copy of Edel, Stein, and Reich sideways, all the components inside jam up, push the box cover upwards, and then starts spilling multicolored gems all over the floor. I should just rip out the insert and use baggies. This goes double for my copy of Kuhhandel.
tagger418: Some times, but I prefer making my own
Boraxia: No...I always pull them out and bag the bits anyway
tipigi: no
skars: No.
fuzzyfife: no
vampywife: not particularly. i usually put things in baggies anyway.
Roja: Sometimes, yes!
l7productions: No
Dorque: I am seldom irked.
themagni: You get irked easily. Let me try: You're ugly and you smell. Nice hair, dorkface. Did your mom buy you those clothes?
hemulen: no
brainrob: No
rawdawg: yes
bekudno: A little, but I get over it.
richdknows: no
Ebon Wendigo: Yes
seppo21: Only if it is really bad -- like Evo -- where you can't even get everything back in the box once it's all punched.
Loquutus: No, your boring questions and incessant whining irk me.
skrebs: No, but games that have a bad insert do.
POvidiusNaso: It's okay if they have no insert. But the Maharaja insert simply blew my mind and I had to throw it out.
ZombyDawg: The game doesn't irk me but the lack of insert does.
flyinghogfish: More than words can say, though I blame it on the 'geek
MisterCranky: Everything irks me.
puffinge: I don't give a shit about this.
tragicpoet: yes, let me store the damn pieces you just sold me you cheapass company (no offense to the fine people at cheapass games)
Eric Haas: No
Regault: Inserts cause me emotional pain.
djlg: Yes
skrutsch: Yeah.
Numskull: Only if I'm out of baggies.
GrandpaDave: Yeah
Great Dane: not at all. I always remove the inserts anyway.
Lord_Prussian: Yes
chaddyboy_2000: Ehh, it's not terrible, but it is annoying.
scriptorum: An insert? Is that what these young kids call the molded plastic that separates pieces? No, it does not irk me. I feel molded plastic generally does a rotten job of keeping the pieces separated once you place the box on a shelf, so I prefer many ziplock or sandwich bags.
jttm: Somewhat
sos1: No
CortexBomb: Not really, if it's that bad I just toss it
CDRodeffer: Yes. Especially if the game also sucks, like Scarab Lords.
Spielfreak: no
skelebone: Yes, bad inserts drive me nuts. I bought a second copy of Big City because the original owner of my first copy had thrown away the insert.
