¿Question #4002?
meshuggener: Are you apt to give unsolicitated advice while winning to the more unfortunate players?

haraggan: Only if I know they'd be open to it
oriellore: Only if I know them and only after the game.
kathleenryan: ha ha ha ha ha.
miscalculation: if i feel sorry for them
xlorp: Depends on a host of factors, their mood, my mood, anyone else at the table
skrutsch: nope. I am apt to give unsolicited life advice to others though.
xofour: rarely
jessitron: Absolutely. Drives some of them crazy.
2amp: yes
evil lincoln: yes i hang my head in shame
Hendal: yes
cgund: I do, but I ought not.
ZeroZilla: Sometimes, my game group holds a silent conference when we see losing players making bad moves. Usually, whoever's supposed to be being adversely affected by the 'more correct' move will speak up and suggest it.
Zarion of Arabel: no, I always give advice
cubeblue: Yeah, now that you mention it.
Hector Vortac: selectively, yes
fanaka66: yes
Thornn: Depends on the group and the game. If there are newbies present, almost definitely.
Cmot Dribbler: No, i give unsolicitated advice all the time.
Thegreatrob: no, suffer as i crush you
amievilyesiam666: OF course clearly they need my advice
pablito76: sure... charity...
delia: yes, and they hate me for that
DHEK: No. I don't want to appear condescending, unless the losing players are new and don't know what they're doing or seem lost.
frieque: yes
aleo09: no.
applejuicefool: That would be incredibly rude...I always wait until I am solicited.
SquarePegIX: Yes, particularly on the first runs-through. After that, it's war, bitches.
Leo-T: no
POvidiusNaso: Not any more.
Beyak: I usually wait until after the win
MightyMike: yes, it's called diplomacy
pwilz: Yeah, people just love that crap.
Reloaded: yes, and it has cost me a few games...
roberto: yes...
Helenoftroy: afterwards yes unless it is really really unwanted and the loser is sore.
gamemark: No... I like my face the way it is.
XenoMaster: No
Dorque: Nope.
GuyHill: i try not to do this
Csteb: I do that on occasion when I notice some fumbling, but if they tell me to can it I will!
BigZaphod: Yeah, it's a bad habit that usually results in me losing. Gotta love that...
FrozenHoHos: To some people, if I know they will appreciate it.
vampywife: yes
Nekura: Only if they're new to the game. Otherwise, I'll use their bad moves to my advantage.
Chris Page: Only if it's their first time playing the game, it's a more general analysis of their options, and they're not frowning or throwing rotten cabbages.
mrspank: No.
bigbadsteve: not usually
Ozvortex: Sometimes. My only concern would be that I may sound patronising. I try not to do it unless I'm actually teaching someone a game.
brainrob: Depends on the player
hakthir: yes
jasta6: at times
scriptorum: I tend to wait until after the game is over to analyze the game with them if they appear interested in doing so. Even so, I can't count the number of games I've been in where my opponent was despondent at my lead and I wound up losing anyway.
dietevil: I try not to because it's really annoying when people do it to me
Tim Synge: Anyone from Splotter. (Although I have never met them.)
davedanger: of course
djlg: Yes
Null Signature: yes, and god how they hate it *laughs maniacally*
GrandpaDave: No
puffinge: usually no
mrbeankc: Yes, if the player is new to the game especially.
SabreRedleg: Yes, but I do it while losing, too. Of course, my advice is not always in their best interest...
CharlieWonka: no - i just say how lucky i was
Lord_Prussian: Yes
chaddyboy_2000: Yeah.
CDRodeffer: Yes.
ValJor: I do that all the time, even if I'm losing...
jttm: Only if they've never played before
dakarp: Not so often, but occasionally.
skelebone: I will give advice to those new to the game, sometimes telling them that they had a better move than the one they just made.
CortexBomb: Rarely, and only in certain circumstances. Unsolicited advice is usually a very bad idea
Spielfreak: no
redhuntingcap: depends on the nature of my personal relationship with the player. there's a fine balance between offering some helpful advice without being overbearing and crushing a novice player because they committed a serious play error. i don’t think that either is much fun for any of the players involved. if i feel like my theoretical friends’ enjoyment and experience of the game would be helped by my giving some play tips-i never point out specific moves, only general strategy--then i give some gentle advice. but i would only do this to close friends who i know wouldn't take offense.
Dave: Afterwards, I might ask them about a particular strategy they adopted.
