¿Question #4099?
Chris Barnard: Name the game with the most poorly written rules.

Leo-T: Hitler's Reich
leslauber: Red November is the first one that comes to my mind.
jurney85: Key to the Kingdom comes to mind, but Im sure there are others with far worse written rules.
Pithagoras: Kill Doctor Lucky and Betrayal at House on the Hill
Smoothsmith: I've only looked at like 10 games rulebooks in my gaming career...But Through the Ages is fucking horrendous, no idea how to play that game...
Woelf: Stronghold's rulebook is a mess, but it's an awesome game once you figure it out. The printed rules that came with the initial copies of Panic Station had some serious issues, but they've been pretty much cleared up by the designer since then. I'm sure there are games that have been far worse, to the point of being completely unplayable out of the box.

cgund: my experience with gaming is limited at this point (newbie), but "Knights" was pretty rough.
Drache: Killer Bunnies!!!!!!

Beyak: Theophrastus
Mr_Six: Sid Meyer Civilisations
agentzen: Big Manitou (English). No English speaker came within 500 yards of that translation.
