CortexBomb: If you can't answer that yourself then a loaded gun is the best solution. Academically speaking, I have to agree, it's a solid question. I take a certain pleasure in the act of life without getting wrapped up creating meaning for the whole of it. If I can keep myself from being bored, and perhaps advance our understanding of ourselves in some way that seems worthwhile enough for me, despite knowing that, in any grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter at all.
