¿Question #4235?
skelebone: When did you start coming to BGG actively? What did the front page look like then?

DanielFirestorm: 2013 november. the same as it does now.
Narlgoth: Pretty much like it does now I think. 2006?
spacerx: Since about 2004. I always recognize the change when it happens, but I can't remember the previous page designs.
Woelf: 2006-ish. The page was pretty similar to now, but with more ads (yay adblock!) and it used to have the random pictures at the bottom.
sarquin: I started coming to BGG only in 07, so it looked very similar to what it does today.
mintylish: 2004; I have no memory of that
Karlsen: 2003 - different
sludgemariner: about 3 days ago. much the same.
madziar: 2005. The front page looked more or less like how it looked now.
DKahnt: early 2006, quite different
Alazabba: Was filled with Ads
ZiggyZambo: Jan 1st, 2006
DHEK: Probably started a few weeks back, around the same time as when they had the Cleopatra giveaway. The front page looked more or less like how it looked now, except the menuing system wasn't as cool as it is now.
eddyspaghetti: Seems like forever ago.
POvidiusNaso: March of 2003. I can't remember. I seem to remember it had two columns on the front page and a Hot Games list that generated a lot of controversy.
MightyMike: 2003, don't recall
KentuckyKid: 2004. It was all in black and white back then.
brainrob: 2002 - it was a lot easier to navigate
SisyphusX: Maybe 1.5 years ago. And - pretty much the same.
Shotmagnet: less than 3 weeks ago; like it does now
Chris Page: Long enough to not remember.
SenorOcho: Not that long ago... It looked the same as it does now
Tennantgamer: yesterday, Alot like today
Cavedog_pdx: August 2002 and I don't remember what was different.
Fawkes: Early 03. Lurked on and off. Registered late 03.
_Kael_: See profile. Different but the same
Loquutus: August last year. Much less trade Geeklists polluting the front page back then
ctskas: sep 2004
Odat: January 2005. Back then the front page mostly consisted of geeklists that weren't titled "My Collection" and "What should I buy?"
ctalbot: Mid-July 2005. It looked about the same as it does now ... three days later.
skrutsch: Well, we registered in January of '03, but I'm sure I was lurking before that. I know the front page has been through many pages, but I really can't remember. It was news. There was a list that was chronological with most recent first of things that were going on in the world of games.
javelin98: About eighteen months ago, and it looked about the same as now.
puffinge: I came here after this years' GOF because I wanted to listen to the Werewolf game that I had been in there on GeekSpeak. Then I discovered GeekQuestions and the rest is history.
jttm: Back in 04, things were so different
djlg: End 2003. I can't remember.
chaddyboy_2000: I think it was about 2 or 3 years ago. It had the recent news by itself on the front page.
Lord_Prussian: 2004--doesn't seem like it was that different, but I'm probably just used to the changes
Spielfreak: Early 2001. I even remember the old logo with the gamer standing still and waving.
CDRodeffer: I think it was in 2001 or so. The front page was a series of news articles, and I think there was a list of players somewhere, but that's about it.
CortexBomb: When I registered, I had been an occasional lurker prior to that. The front page had almost no useful data on it then
skelebone: I started coming back in March of 2004, the front page had news blurbs by Aldie, and I browsed new additions by the link in the left-hand column.
