¿Question #4252?
kennyb: Are we currently in the midst of a housing price bubble?

pricero1: There's always a bubble.
Felimid: Probably. Sub-prime mortgages must just seem too tempting to banks that should have more sense but don't.
tankexmortis: I would say: definitively no.
MIB 8686: Only is politicians keep inflating the bubble with hot air!
jessitron: No, it popped already
GrimJester: Signs say yes.
MisterCranky: If by bubble you mean "totally expoloded and deflated and in no way intact bubble," then yes.
Hector Vortac: It's a buyer's market in Prescott.
cgund: something icky's going on...
Impr3ssion: Is that like a dimensional vortex?
POvidiusNaso: I don't know.
Iceberg1: In some regions of the country, but not the MidWest
blindspot: As of 111306 we are in a correction period that might last years, though some areas of the nation are experiencing stability
DHEK: Perhaps. That's what i hear some people say.
InShaneee: Yes, but I don't see it bursting any time soon, if ever.
duron600: No
aleo09: i think it just broke
william_henshaw: yep
WatchmanX2000: which market are you speaking of?
gawilz: No popping this bubble. A slight deflate...maybe.
MaksimSmelchak: Irrelevant question. Please ask questions about gaming.
ZiggyZambo: Yes
richlowe32: I can't speak for you, but I don't think I am.
mooka: yes
Citadel: Hopefully. Ithink with many countries populations declining the house prices must fall or else at least I can build a shelter out of these game boards and all these wooden pieces will keep me warm for a little while.
Cromaa: I hope not...I'm going to be buying a house in the next month or so...or is that a good thing for a buyer?
vampywife: i don't really keep up with the housing market.
mats-k: Yes
erli: Probably
lauramath: yes
TheBoch: No
jasta6: we all are
bigbadsteve: it could be
djlg: Not anymore.
Mike A: Depends on the banckrupcy laws in your area. Overspend as much as you can on a house -> declare bankrupcy -> Woo-hoo! Free house! (Makes me so mad...)
m:cafe: I live in Seattle. Grunge, Dotcom...it's all one big bubble, baby.
Loquutus: Absolutely
ecasco_online: Yes, we are.
Belash: no
brainrob: In Edinburgh - YES
kimapesan: Yup, you betcha.
GrandpaDave: No
skrutsch: Maybe you are.
mrbeankc: no idea
jttm: Wouldn't know.
CDRodeffer: It's an extreme bubble, and it will burst eventually.
skelebone: Perhaps, but it really depends on the area. To make it break, there would have to be a glut of cheaper housing in areas where people want to live, but one cannot necessarily put houses closer to the population centers.
chaddyboy_2000: I don't know.
CortexBomb: You're asking the wrong proletarian
Lord_Prussian: Somewhat, yes
Spielfreak: no
