ZeroZilla: My work is physical and, contrary to the supposed 'burn rate' for alcohol, I can't have any of it during the evening (I work nights) at ALL and still function normally/safely. Consequently, I seldom ever drink anymore... during the week I can't, and on the weekends it doesn't really occur to me (unless I have company, or go out). I still enjoy it, I just don't do it very often. Like so many other things in life.

banan: I had a day at work when in the morninng I was still drunk and then, almost all day long had a hangover-it was disaster
chockle: One time, ages ago, my roommates & I all worked at the same facility. So, one night we all drank way way too much whisky, but no worries, because Z was going in for the 6:30am shift. I'm awakened by him saying he can't possibly go in, so I go in to cover him, though I'm not feeling so great myself. When I get in the kitchen area, I reach into the mini-fridge thinking some milk will calm my tumultuous stomach. I start drinking straight from this carton. My slow brain says, "Something's wrong!" and I realize this milk's gone really bad. I rush to the sink and barely make it in time to vomit extensively as the General Manager and others are making their way into the facility for a brand new day.
