¿Question #4311?
puffinge: Do you think GWB mixes too much religion with his politics?

Narlgoth: I think I don't know or care what you are talking about as sir!
RealGuest: More like not enough
PolarDad: Nope
ocdspectrum: Yes.
phillipwilson: esye
WillyRapier: No idea
vandemonium: I think he mixes not nearly enough Vodka with his politics.
Corran Horn: What politics?
Squibz: I think it's more a matter of mixing too little politics in with his religion.
slate43: No more than some people on geek questions mix too much stupidity in their questions.
Cringing Dragon: I don't pay any attention to him, so I haven't noticed.
MisterCranky: Not at all. If he could just go a little stronger we'd be the equivalent of Iran, and then we'd get along so much better with 'em.
kathleenryan: yes
2amp: no
tofuji: hell yes
Phloid: I think GWB mixes too much stupidity with is politics.
matthan: Gary William Brinkley?
paulclarke339: Yes. Damn tht Bush!
ExitDose: We are satisfied that there can be but little liberty on earth while men worship a tyrant in heaven.
Brad Oliver: Absolutely.
DHEK: I think so. I don't think it's on purpose, but rather because he's such a bumbling guy he just blurts out some of the most inappropriate things sometimes.
POvidiusNaso: It's one of his biggest mistakes.
Decorius: Better that than too much gin.
TheArchAngel: yes....supposed to be a separation of state and religion
Eric Haas: Yes.
Pippin123: My Kingdom is not of this world
mpw182: needs oregano
KentuckyKid: Not really. There are many other more important problems with GWB.
Evil_Ted: no just the right amount
MaksimSmelchak: Irrelevant question. Please ask more questions about gaming.
ZiggyZambo: No, get over it
Numskull: GWB has no religious beliefs; it's all for show and for red state electoral votes.
Beelzebub: Yes
mooka: yes
Freejack: Yes... and I admire him for it.
xandryyte: Yes
PhrollikK: Yes. Politicians should be more objective in their approach to subject matters.
XenoMaster: No, I think he needs to lead Hare Krishna marches
loiosh13: Yes
brainrob: Yes - and his theology is well dodgy
vampywife: unfortunately, yes, but he's better than the alternative.
jasta6: no.......................................................................................
bluebehir: I don't really care either way.
Harlan: No, the problem is that he mixed any politics at all with his religion. Shoulda stayed there.
mlanza: A person is the sum total of their experiences. A religious man cannot separate himself from who he has become.
tempus42: No more than most other Republicans.
erli: Yes, but I don't think he knows what he's talking about 99% of the time. I hope GWB's speech-writer does but one can't hold out too much hope. They are, after all, only Republicans.
joebelanger: Foh shee-zee!
scriptorum: As long as he doesn't invoke the second coming or bring about a rain of frogs I don't really care what bible belting tidbits he sprinkles into his speeches.
jellospike: The way he talks, I thought it was the other way around...
WatchmanX2000: way too much
djlg: Yes
confuse_a_cat: Suppose all of his religious beliefs were correct, objectively speaking. Then, shouldn't he mix in more religion? Now, suppose his religious beliefs are wrong. Shouldn't he mix in no religion at all? This question hinges on whether or not the religion that he is mixing in is correct. This is now the question, and good luck getting people to come to terms.
skrutsch: Well, he seems to confuse the USA with God. That really bugs me. Have you read God's Politics?
Fawkes: Politics and religion are inseparable.
pgkashmir: No. I am not overly Christian but I see the alternative as worse
Loquutus: ye
Tushratta: Better than mixing too much politics with his religion.
mgringo: I have a general problem with sincerity in politics. I prefer to keep my religious thought private or share it with people I care about.
Snappatoon: He certainly mixes plenty of metaphores
arkibet: yes, but at least he has some morals, questionable as they are.
Edbryan: Only if you aren't a fundy christian
GrandpaDave: Yes
xlorp: What's an auto-da-fe? It's what you oughtn't to do, but you do anyway!
ssmooth: Too much hypocrisy, not enough morality
puffinge: That's the thing I hate about him more than anything else.
Cavedog_pdx: I think most Christians nowadays are more worried about politics than about saving souls.
obob: who's GWB and what game did he design? Balancing religion and politics might make for interesting play
louiseh: Undoubtedly. But I suspect his politics would be bad anyway.
Randy Cox: Well, he definitely mixes too much religious rhetoric with his politics and his advisors (Jerry Falwell?) have way too much ACTIVE mixing of church and state. Personally, I don't know if Dubya is all that religious our not--it just got him elected. When's he's out of office, will he go back to being a pot smoking hard drinking heathen? Who knows. But the sooner we find out, the better.
skelebone: Probably, though I don't care to go into it here.
Lord_Prussian: Not enough
chaddyboy_2000: I don't really pay much attention.
CDRodeffer: No
jttm: Yep
CortexBomb: Yes, but I could say the same for any of the Democrats, so it's a wash
snoozefest: fer sure
