MyKrisse: It's good. Especially when you don't want to play to much with direct attacs on your routes it's played better with two than with three, just because there's less action on the board. A four-player-game is very good, too. Then with the opportunity to build a railroad twice. And you could play the two or three player boards like nordic countries. They're great, too.
Felimid: It's okay. Better as 3-player and even better as 4-player.
Woelf: It's pretty good if you like "friendly" games of TtR. Blocking won't be very effective.
beerbear: Neyer played it that way. Mainly 'cause I don't hate myself. There are a lot of people who prefer it that way.

Lord_Prussian: I think it's great online. You can play a game in 5-10 minutes. It can be a bit cutthroat with blocking, so it depends on your style of play and who you are playing with.
skelebone: My initial plays with TTR were as a 2-player game, and it's pretty good. You have a better shot at getting the cards you need in the display, but there's much less tension of getting cut off for routes.
CDRodeffer: I haven't played it at all, let alone with 2. I'm so out of it.
