puffinge: How often do you make a play in a multi-player game simply to irritate one of your opponents?

RealGuest: Rarely just to do that. More often it's a byproduct.
pwilz: I'm usually on the other side of that.
imyourskribe: Never solely to irritate, but if two moves are equal for me and one also introduces the largest amount of suck for an opponent, I will choose that one.
oldhoss: I will go to the last spot on the $5 blackjack tables and "hit" on anything below an18 just for fun.

dakarp: Rarely--it is best not to irritate anyone in a multiplayer game. Let people think the other guy is the threat.
nouge: Usually never - although sometimes deliberate irritation is a valid strategy. (I once gained valuable information in a pbem Diplomacy game by taunting my opponent until he forwarded me emails 'proving' that I'd been wrong about his plans... I was, but I promptly forwarded his mails to plans to some other players and did for him.)
