¿Question #4540?
Lord_Prussian: Have you ever lived for any length of time without dependable running water, electricity and the like?
pricero1: Only camping for a week or so.
MartinWin: On vacation. One week. Was a nice time.
pin316: yup - 2012, was living in QLD Australia when the super-floods happened. Knocked out power for almost 2 weeks, and living where we were everything was cut-off (we had our own water tank but no pumps, no electricity for house stuff, and we were even cut-off for the first week as the access road to the house was covered with moving water). It sucked. Royally.
utrocketman: Maybe 3 or 4 days at most - after a line of horrendous storms came through where I lived and knocked out power for a few days. Not a fun experienece in the middle of summer and 100 degree days.
