TheGrimReeple: Not yet.

purplewurple: No, the Communist Party merged into GreenLeft twenty years ago, around the same time the Socialist Party dropped the Marxism/Leninism ideology. But were I a member of a political party, it would most likely be one of these two.

CDRodeffer: No, Senator McCarthy.
CortexBomb: As in officially a member? No. I had/have sympathies with the Communists, but I consider myself an Anarcho-Syndicalist. Communism seems to have a nasty tendency to devolve into very large and impersonal bureaucratic states rather than continue down the road to actual worker led government. I much prefer the Anarcho-Syndicalist perspective that says we should make small, autonomous communities as soon as possible, because very small, personal government that people have a reason to feel invested in (due to direct efficacy, knowing all of one's "neighbours" in the cohort, &c.) is much more likely to be successful in the longer run and additionally is more directly democratic and trusting of the people
