Randy Cox: Bill, you're not that much older than I am. And I live in the South, where everything arrives about 10 years later than elsewhere. So, in fact, you had a better chance of seeing TV as a kid than I did. So there. By the way, I watched a ton as a kid--probably six hours or so per day on average. That'd be disasterous nowadays, with the video game flash-and-cut approach to advertisements. Drive a kid to ADHD. But back in the day it was kinder. Gentler.
