Der Ubermolch: I do not have a cell phone. If I had one, I'd use it multiple times a day to hit people who use cell phones while driving or at restaurants or in movie theatres.
xofour: I was searching to see if I would be repeating somebody by asking a different question when I found this one, and it is so telling about my personality that I just have to use it. I do carry a cell phone. One day about a year and a half ago, I was fishing out near lake detroit. After enough hours of fruitlessness. (fruit are hard to catch with a prince nymph) I decided it was time to go somewhere else. Hiking my way back, I noticed something off the side of a trail. It was a cell phone. As far as I knew nobody had been around, and I hate litter, so I picked it up. It was completely dead. No power, nothing. So I took it home figuring I could find a way to charge it, and see if I could get it back to the rightful owner. Turns out, nobody had a charger that worked. So I have been carrying it around ever since. I actually use it quite a bit. Mostly on the freeway I will pretend I am talking on it to annoy the other drivers. Or, occasionally I will remember I have it in a store, and pull it out and pretend I am asking my wife what she wanted me to pick up. The most common use is to loan it to my teenage daughter who complains incessantly about not having a cell phone. So I tell her "here use mine." I love my cell phone.

Randy Cox: My company provides me with one, but I only carry it (yet don't use it) when I'm away from home on a non-vacation weekend. If I remember to take it. If I could rid the world of these things, I would.
