Melosh007: What are the best expansions, if any? Looking for Bohnanza, LOTR, Carcassone, & Settlers.

oldhoss: Never played Bohnaza. The rest are all feel the same, really. I do use one of the extra player Settlers' expansions because at family events we usually have a group of 6 interested in playing.
bcooperok: Oh, you should definitely get the Carcassonne expansion. Whazat? They have more than one? Well you should definitely get both. More than two you say? Well get them all, how many can there be?
DHEK: I don't know about any of the expansions for the games except for Settlers of Catan. And the best expansion for that is Cities & Knights.

CDRodeffer: Bohnanza -- not played expansions. LOTR -- F&F is way better than Sauron. Carcassone -- I like having all the tiles in the mix, even if certain expansion rules are omitted. Settlers -- Seafarers is keen.

CortexBomb: I haven't played an expansion for those games that I particularly fancy, I guess Friends & Foes would work because it's a completion of the LotR game though

Flyspeck23: Settlers (Cities and Knights, to be precise). Greatly improves gameplay.
Aldie: Cities & Knights. Sauron.
Lardarse: Carcassonne. It needs the first 2 main expansions and the King (Essen 2003) expansion.
