¿Question #4792?
Gialmere: True Life Gaming: Have you ever sat down with a child to play one of those stupid kids games only to find that no matter how hard you try the kid just mops the floor with you?
madguru: No.
pricero1: That means that you'll have to play again. And again. And again. And again. And again...
Neal Smith: No. But then I cheat against small people.
Woelf: Kids are good at games. Better than many adults give them credit for.
OmegaII: No, it's only you, sorry.
the manatee: Yes. Candyland.
The Great Sun Jester: Yes. Warhammer 40,000.
Blott: Only when I allow the kid to make up their own imaginary rules to the game.
ahauwi1: What uncle hasn't?
Diamat: No
gmcash: yes, but its ok
ZeroZilla: No, but I've had that experience with certain video-games.
cavallaj: Yes. Checkers, every time.
DHEK: Hahaha... funny stuff, but no. Never happened to me.
Brentoon: I would never allow that to happen...does that question merit the title "True Life Gaming" though?
aleo09: yes
dsmeyer: often, like memory, my daughter helps me to find matches
tdyck: no, but I know kids who could beat me in video games
Nimrod6: Of course, we play too much Candyland
citizengeek: Hint: kids practice... lots. Take in a new game that YOU'VE PRACTICED and smoke their little butts.
sdonohue: No, but I have gotten my butt handed to me at Tekken 3 by a 5 year old.
jeffwolfe: No
tagger418: Yes, Chutes and Ladders! I hate that stupid game!!
ellephai: Oh, hell yes. Two things come to mind: (1) My brother as a child was unbeatable at Sorry. Granted, Sorry is not the perfect example for this sort of thing because (a) it is not 100% devoid of skill, and (b) we still enjoy it. But anyway, he won nearly every damn time no matter what you did. You could have 3 men home, one on the last square, and have blasted his whole team back to Start, and he'd still win. (2) I have a cousin who whipped my mom at Candyland and everything on up. The girl has no skill at anything, but it was like a decade before my mother (who does have skill) managed to beat her at anything. Go figure.
merik: Oh Yes, happens all the time .
Benzebub: Not yet. But hoping that my son will once he's old enough to game with me.
Johan: Ask me after Christmas...
everlong205: It wouldn't happen because I would cheat.
brainrob: Yes
puffinge: sure, who hasn't?
nm156: No
hellsbishop: Yes.
POvidiusNaso: Nope.
Bagherra: I cheat.
Chris Page: No comment.
janiera: yes
bigbadsteve: so you have met my cousin, i see
LemonyFresh: No
korppu: No
skrutsch: No, my husband usually wins Pretty Pretty Princess.
jellospike: Not since a long time.
KompaNanzi: Memory
ZombyDawg: Yes, I taught her well.
javelin98: Yep.
JamesT: No
jttm: No
e.c.r.: mp
djlg: Yes (hey, its all in the die roll!)
ststrat: yes, because they are totally luck
CortexBomb: Not to date
erli: Yes, I played Rainbow Fish with dakarp and I mop the floor with him
chaddyboy_2000: Nope.
Lord_Prussian: No
CDRodeffer: Yes
skelebone: Sure not, though my mother tells me that my 5-year-old nephew cheats at Candyland.
