vandemonium: I think the first one, so fresh and full of wonder. After the fourth or thereabouts it was still good but the sense of wonder at the world was not what it was early on.

Lori713: I have read only the first one (and maybe the second). So far, my favorite is the first book. :-)
Blott: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was pretty good too.
ZeroZilla: Probably Goblet of Fire. Order of the Phoenix is way too mopey. I might end up liking Half-Blood Prince more, but I won't know until July...when I find out if any of my theories on the series' ending were correct.
