¿Question #4814?
erli: Who will Bush nomiate for justice of the Supreme Court now that Sandra Day O'Connor will be retiring?
Woelf: Apparently it was Alito.
The Monstrous Jake: I was hoping he'd nominate me but obviously that didn't happen.
medlinke: Wow this is old. It's now 2012. Thankfully this is a timeless question.
MisterCranky: Hey Jatoha, this series of automated answers is dedicated to YOU!
Jatoha: oh, dang, who was it? Must have been Alito.
CardboardCultist: Serpentor.
Frubgarde: Some religious nut, no doubt.
POvidiusNaso: Some asshole.
Impr3ssion: Alice Cooper (You know he'd be great)
DHEK: I think this has already passed. Can't remember who he nominated but it was some guy.
TheArchAngel: no clue
Geosmores: John Steward
pairofdicelost: None other than TV personality Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Son of Murray: This question is moot at this point, so here's an anti-joke from a SomethingAwful.com article: "
You might be a redneck if... Northern city-dwellers mock your isolated rural heritage, and utilize stereotypes referencing your supposed appetite for fornication with family relations, and your almost simian intelligence to further demean you."
dkwd: Ah - American politics - no idea
jasta6: I'm Too late it's done....................................
brainrob: Pat Robertson
WatchmanX2000: already resolved
DS615: His Mom, or himself would be in character.
hacksword: Vin Diesel
bigbadsteve: did i hear that puffinge was in the running?
Kazin: I really have no idea.
skrutsch: Here's a wild guess: John Roberts.
ValJor: More important: who cares?
scriptorum: My ass.
davebo: who cares
Randy Cox: Some right winger that no one knows about so he can fly in under the RADAR and take away all of our rights.
kimapesan: Alberto Gonzales.
erli: MisterCranky!
sos1: Some fascist
davedanger: another corporation
Kyleroconnor: Judge Judy
djlg: Don't know & don't care.
puffinge: Someone odious.
jttm: One of his cronies.
chaddyboy_2000: I don't know.
CortexBomb: Undoubtedly someone who I will not like
Lord_Prussian: Gonzalez maybe
GrandpaDave: I dunno
skelebone: I really don't know, but I also don't think this is the correct forum for political speculation.
CDRodeffer: I'm consulting my vision of the galactic all. He doesn't know this yet, but Bush is just going to do a random search within the American Bar Association membership lists (since politicians STUPIDLY seem to think that only lawyers are qualified to be judges, even though they are by most measures, actually the least qualified, but I digress). He'll then narrow things down to Texas, just to throw a bone to the peeps. It also has to be someone "about 60 years old" (plus or minus no more than 8 years) and can't be someone who has less than six degrees of separtion between him/her and anyone in the Bush family, Enron or Haliburton. This leaves ... Burgain G. Hayes, Esq., of the Austin office of Delgado Acosta.
heli: Cheney's probably looking around for a new job.
