MamaRat: I've been with my dad when he's bought them. He's a certifiable pyro, he's always buying the scary stuff and putting a fake address on the form so he can keep it in-state. He also used to make his own fireworks--he got fed up with people calling things M-80s that only had 50mg of powder in them, so he decided to make REAL M-80s. On a perhaps-not-unrelated note, he's now mostly deaf in one ear.
