¿Question #482?
ejmowrer: What is your favorite Hitchhikers Guid to the Galaxy line/joke from the books/radio?
oldhoss: Never read, never listened, never watched.
bcooperok: Curiously the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias, as it fell, was, 'Oh no, not again.'
DHEK: Wow, okay... well... I don't think I can remember any exact lines, but I think the best joke for me was the part about some place being under renovation or something by God or something. The place was apparently some touristy site, I think. I can't remember the specifics but I remember being pretty impressed and amused when I first read that part.
duLac956: "So long and thanks for all the fish."
sos1: One day, about 2000 years after someone had been nailed to a cross for saying how great it would be if everyone were nice to each other...
Blackwind: Mice: We just need your brain. Arthur: But I'm still using it! Mice: Hardly.
CDRodeffer: None that I recall.
chaddyboy_2000: No clue.
CortexBomb: Really can't say I know the book that well, read it a little over 2 years ago and loved it, but certainly haven't memorised portions of it or chosen a favourite
BeyondMonopoly: The one about the marketing department at Sirius Cybernetics being the first against the wall when the revolution comes.
hakko504: Life. Don't talk to me about Life.
Flyspeck23: Line: "Is there any tea on this spaceship?"; joke: An expression of deep worry and concern failed to cross either of Zaphod's faces.
EYE of NiGHT: Brain the size of a planet.
MisterCranky: I'll reread the Guide this week and get back to you.
Spielfreak: Anything to do with Disaster Area
Debate: What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?
seppo21: I didn't realize there were any jokes involved.
dietevil: 42.
skelebone: The house stood on a slight rise just on the edge of the village.
