¿Question #4826?
consolewa: Will the world end in the daytime or in the nighttime?
oriecat: If the whole world is ending, it would be both.
pricero1: Nightmares tend to be at night.
FeelGoodND: end is always nightime
Phil Fleischmann: The play is not over. Oh no, not quite. For life never ends in the moonlit night.
frankco85: Daytime
Spirit of 70: I doubt it will matter much when it does.
Woelf: Both, depending on where you're standing.
pwilz: Not with a bang, but a whimper.
Sparkles: on earth?
ZeroZilla: Both. Unless the destruction followed the sunlight (or lack thereof), it would pretty much have to be both, given the fact that only half the world is lit at any one time.
kathleenryan: daytime
familynight: Daytime as the planet is pulled into the sun
Hendal: nighttime
DKahnt: Well, if the sun is going to envelope the earth 50 trillion years from now, I think everyone will see it... so Daytime, technically
tsias: Um. Both. Depends on which hemisphere you're in...
gantrell: its always nighttime in space
Boot2daHead: depends what side the planet you're on.
heavymetalhamster: Daytime
Admiral Fisher: Maybe it'll be so dark by them, that there'll be no difference.
douglasbushong: Definitely the daytime. Unless it's after dark.
kingmaker fan: No one knows.
DHEK: Daytime, because the world will end with our sun going supernova. And when that happens, the brightness will envelop the whole world such that it will be daytime everywhere.
TheArchAngel: whenever it wants
aleo09: don't care
blindspot: It will be hard to tell when the sky is red.
talrich: Depends where on the globe you stand.
Numskull: Both.
JaggedTech: It depends on the time zone you are in.
Timicus: It depends if I win the Lottery during Daylight Savings or not.
matthewjhoskins: It will be dark. Very dark.
Chris Page: Neither. The giant astro-dragon will swallow the world during a solar eclipse.
TrimChris: Twilight
GrimJester: half and half
tmcconville: Ask Cheney.
scriptorum: Silly. But both, repeatedly. As the world blows up, chunks of Earth will be rotating rapidly, so any survivors (who will surely spend their dying moments sick on G forces and choking on the sudden evaporation of atmosphere) will see day and night oscillate very quickly.
The-Prophet: Nighttime
vampywife: daytime
Skycaptain: Daytime.
Russ G.: Cute. Did it take you long to think that one up?
Godeke: Daytime for half the planet. A very bright and hot one if it is the sun's expansion that get's us.
Paxlaurien: daytime
TheDS: yes, because it's always one of those somewhere.
Ebon Wendigo: Both, daytime and nighttime being such localized conditions.
Culvan: Logic dictates both.
Megadev: both of course
Loquutus: While I'm sleeping, hopefully.
djlg: Day. Very bright, all engulfing day.
brainrob: Depends where in the world you are
skrutsch: both.
SenorOcho: But there is no day or night in space!
davidgpeterson: I'd say the chances are pretty much even
jellospike: The world is round, you know. There are other countries beside the USA.
billgoode: It'll depend on where in the world you are at the time the world ends.
jasta6: Does it really matter, if it's over it's OVER! God Bless!!
ZombyDawg: Depends where you live at the time.
POvidiusNaso: Daytime for America, just like in all the movies.
davebo: day
puffinge: it will be 5 o'clock somewhere
jttm: Which timezone?
chaddyboy_2000: I have no idea.
CortexBomb: Both
Lord_Prussian: Somebody just asked this question. Do you guys know something I don't?
skelebone: It will be daytime somewhere, also nighttime somewhere.
CDRodeffer: It will be light.
Spielfreak: It'll end at 8:00 am EDT. You've got 3 minutes -- better start packing. Which game(s) will you take?
