erli: How many time do you return to the buffet table in an all-you-can resturant? Please don't be modest.

Woelf: At least once. Sometimes twice depending on how hungry I am.

TiwazTyrsfist: Depending on what type of food, plate size, and how hungry I am, two to four times, not counting a desert run.

ZeroZilla: Generally, three. Five or six on a good day, or if I'm particularly hungry, and/or the food's excellent. Lately, though, I haven't been able to eat as much as I used to... and I don't deliberately eat beyond my comfort level just to 'get my money's worth', so three is my average.

themagni: Once I went so many times, I just started throwing up because my stomach was too full. The manager got one of the metal trys and held it under my mouth. He marked it "tuna casserole surprise" and put it back out in the buffet. I haven't been back since.

DHEK: Maybe 4 or 5 on average? But only because I want to try a bit of everything and that's about the number of times I need to go even when putting a little bit of everything that I can fit on a plate before I have to go and eat and then come back and repeat.
TheDS: When younger and not caring about my weight, I would usually go back 2-3 times, and have a heaping plateful every time. Nowadays I hardly ever go to buffets (maybe every other month), but when I do, I usually get one heaping plateful, and if there was anything especially good, I'll get a more modest second plateful, and that's almost always it.
