¿Question #4915?
Randy Cox: Can we recall federal politicians, including the President? How many can we do in one fell swoop?
kiloforce: Revolution?
VincentDarlage: Unfortunately, no. I'd love to recall all of them.
Woelf: It turns out that even recalls don't work if enough insanely rich people dump truckloads of money into your campaign and you manage to convince enough morons that you're on their side (even though you'll just end up screwing them over like everyone else).
aleo09: don't think so.
MisterCranky: They've taken the hobbits to Isengarde! What did you say? Blarg. 42. Wil Wheaton has 3.14 times the patience of most of the Malaysians that ever played this crappy game. All your base are belong to yahoo boots.
Spirit of 70: No.
Marauder2001: Yes, 100%
Redhawke: How many can we? As many as there are. How many should we? Harder to say.
hob69: Anarchy Now
Speshul: not enough
boldot: Not near enough. Call me when the scythes are being passed out to harvest corruptions.
GameMeister: Kill them all... maybe the next batch will be more responsive.
DHEK: I'm not sure about that. Perhaps you can ask someone who is more familiar with US law on that matter.
themagni: How good a shot are you?
Nikoms: Many - I was a history teacher
dmomo: Depends on the We.
vampywife: i'm not sure on that, but the US government is set up for the people to change it when they want, that's why elections are so frequent.
dragonewtking: no, they're above the law (you know its true)
Laudwic: The best way would be a presidential impeachment - then you can replace all of the ones that serve at the pleasure of the president
WatchmanX2000: yes, no, not enough. good luck
Loquutus: I think so. If we get rid of them, more will crawl out of the shadows.
LemonyFresh: Well ,there's a system for it
scriptorum: I prefer to use legal elections and terms of office to get new politicians into the government, but good thinking out of the box here.
POvidiusNaso: Sure, why not. Let's just try for one first.
puffinge: wouldn't that be kewl
skelebone: I don't think we have a recall provision for federal officials. I think that's a state measure.
Lord_Prussian: Impeach, but I don't think there is a recall process. A constitutional convention would probably be necessary for what you have in mind.
chaddyboy_2000: No idea.
djlg: Yes, except we don't have a president. All of them.
jttm: If the public demands it
heli: Caligula once said he wished all Rome had but one neck so he could cut it in but one swoop.
CDRodeffer: Any federal politician (especially, ahem, judges) are subject to impeachment. Convince your House Representative to make the accusation you seek, then convince your Senator to vote for removal.
