pwilz: Not really sure. I've known several over the years, and I know some from the internet, but I don't know of anyone I see in person, socially, and regularly right now who is a vegetarian.

Hendal: a lot actually, no I am no, but I was for 5 years ( i will eat pork or red meat at a friends if they have made it already, but we eat mainly fish, some chicken, but mainly my wife cooks vegetarian meals

MaksimSmelchak: I know far more than I'd ever expected to be aquainted with. California has a bit of everything... if it's out of the ordinary, even if it doesn't make any sense, some Californian resident will try it to make themselves feel special and different. I DO respect some vegetarians (And vegans...), but the majority of them I've met have done it from faddish "following" behavior and I have no respect for that. I am a dedicated omnivore and would never become a full-time vegetarian although I don't always eat meat everyday of the week and enjoy many vegetarian cuisines.

CortexBomb: Several, though not as many as I used to (some are off the wagon) and no, I'm not one of them, though I have gone veggie for weeks at a time just for the heck of it. I used to be morally opposed to eating meat, so I would often go veggie for half the time. Now I don't have any opposition at all to eating meat, but I still enjoy vegetarian food and eat it quite regularly in place of meat (i.e.: lasagna, mexican style food, &c.)
