miyazakigrognard: I watched as an adult. It confirmed much that I had already intuitively suspected about our place in the universe (entirely insigificant, except of course from our rather subjective point of view).
Chris Page: Yes. It got me seriously annoyed, because I wanted to see astronomy, and all the camera was showing was shots of Carl Sagan's hair styles. Only one of the episodes had real content.
