¿Question #737?
EndersGame: How have your parents ever embarrassed you?

BOBBYCAN: They never meant to.
pricero1: Simple existence is sometimes enough.
Caerid: They are parents, of course.
Spirit of 70: If they embarrassed me, why would I wish to make it known?
ZeroZilla: One time I told my mother that my then-girlfriend (now wife) already had a name picked out for a potential future daughter. I thought this was cute. On about our fourth date, we bring mom along to a pool-hall we were going to, after a movie, and mom starts sing-songing this hypothetical little girl's name, under her breath, with a huge, sappy grin on her face. That was pretty face-reddening...
Felimid: My mom has.
DasViktor: My dad was a milkman and knew absolutely everybody when I was a kid. Going to the store for 3 items could take an hour. Not so bad as I look back on it now, but then it was frustrating and sometimes embarrassing.
daveroswell: Isn't that a prent's job?
Diamat: It's so long ago.
soundpreacher: They're parents, aren't they?
sludgemariner: Whose hasn't?
puffinge: Calling my name loudly in a store when I was young.
bulldozers: Oh Yeah by praying all the time for various reasons it wasn't that they did it but that they somehow felt so sanctimonious about it
bigbadsteve: whos haven't?
CarlosJackl: Only an orphan's parents have never embarrassed them.
craniac: Constantly. I am 40.
ZiggyZambo: they haven't really
DHEK: Yeah, I suppose.
jcarvin: How about not coming to my wedding reception because my brother would be attending.
Butterbane: How haven't they? That's the real question.
kuchick: yes. daily.
Guantanamo: who's hasn't?
redjack11: Through years of diligent practice.
scriptorum: Are you kidding? Of course they have. That's what teenage years are for.
jlavigne: yes - don't they all?
amymarlene: not much
Cromaa: Probably
brainrob: Too many times in my plooky youth
vampywife: i'm sure they have, but nothing specific comes to mind
Big Bad Lex: They wouldn't be proper parents if they didn't...that is part of'growing up'.
Chump: Dressed me funny during the 70's. Looking back, however, looks like I managed to avoid an unfortunate fashion era, so,
orodreth: Yes
korppu: Yes
Chairman7w: Yes.
skrutsch: I can't think of a time. When they're no longer with you, you don't remember that stuff so much.

jasta6: never did
Loquutus: yes
red turtle: asking me if I masturbated today

Sceadeau: Duh
Lord_Prussian: Nothing memorable.
snoozefest: too many
kennyb: lots

davidme: When I was a teen, one walked in.
Bearcat89: Isn't that their job between the years of 13 and 19?
Randy Cox: Can't recall any such moments
stephensj23: I don't answer those kind of questions.
isolated: I'm human aren't I?
AlorielLelyn: Frequently
Oborro: with their every waking moment
gnomehome: Sure, when your an adolescent you're easily embarrased.
2amp: yes, that's what parents DO!
hibikir: How haven't they embarrased me?
Dante_Cubit: By giving birth to me.
GuyHill: they do that all the time
Belash: sure
CortexBomb: I honestly can't even recall one instance at this point. My parents were relatively cool throughout my youth honestly
buergerberatung: oh yes and i am way to embarrased, to even speak about it in public
Blackwind: Ender asks some really dumb questions.
shumyum: oh yeah and the feeling is mutual
Bluenose: Appearing in public does the trick for me...

ynnen: Hell yeah -- that was part of the "strengthening" process... And I'm sure I'll do the same to my son.
Flyspeck23: You don't want to know, and I want to forget, so let's leave it at that, ok?
jttm: Probably, but its been a few years since I was back, so I can't think of any.
tragicpoet: My mom scares my co-workers and they've never even met her.
skelebone: My parents have probably embarrassed me at one time or another for droning on about personal things with strangers, but it's mostly inconsequential.
silverpenny: You mean today?
