TheDS: Assuming there's enough room in my hands, and the table is sturdy, one thing I like to do is cup my hands together, rattle the dice around, then SLAM everything onto the table, such that my hands are still cupped around the dice, hiding them from view, then can lift my hands to reveal them when needed (especially if we're supposed to be rolling at the same time).

Megadev: if it's one die, I like to put a big backspin on it so it usually lands close to me. If it's more than one die, a couple of small shakes and a sweeping roll from right to left.
Odat: A nice firm shake followed by a sweeping roll across the table. If done correctly, a dice or two will roll off the edge, allowing you the ever important "do-over".
