niraD: When you braille cards, they take up more room because the braille dots add space between one card and the next. If the brailled cards still fit in the insert, then we keep it. Otherwise, we toss it. Sometimes the game won't even fit in the original box, and I end up making a new (larger) box, cutting apart the original box, and gluing the original box to the outside of the new one.

BilboAtBagEnd: I used to be in the "toss 'em" group when I was keeping games on their sides, but now that I've learned that it's both bad to keep games on their side (boards warp, which is worse than slightly bent boxes), *and* that you save a lot more space with games stacked in small piles on shelves (which also looks grand), I like the inserts more often than not.
kimbo: Generally keep them, but when they get in the way remove them. Sadly, I don't actually toss them. I store them away in case I ever need them. (Sad, I know.)
