pakruse: All of Heinlein's early books, the Iain Banks "Culture" series, "Neuromancer" by Gibson and its sequels, the Uplift books by Brin, a number of the classic Verne and Wells books, "Dune" but not its sequels, "Ender's Game" but not its sequels; I could go on, but my mind is blanking at the moment and my books are all at home.
