¿Question #950?
ejmowrer: A runaway train is barreling down the tracks. There is a switch ahead. If the train keeps its course it will hit the last remaining copy of Puerto Rico, if the switch is flipped, it will be diverted into a group of children, nice old ladies, and puppies playing Pokemon Monopoly (certaily killing them all, but also destroying the game). Do you flip the switch?
David H: No
ptm_junk: no
Woelf: Call Superman to stop the train. Duh.
Clive65: no, if it were Agricola yes
jessitron: No. But how do Puppies play Pokemon Monopoly?
stagger lee: Nope. There is likely a Goodwill that has that other copy we thought didn't exist.
solove: Let the train hit PR, the next train is due in 10 minutes... plenty of time to flip the switch
Polgara: unless also all paper cardboard and wood is gone, you can just make another copy of puerto rico you know...
Drudiusmaximus: Is there a 3rd option?
Aussie550: naturally
vandemonium: Already done mon frere
Couggar: no way Puerto Rico can be made again...besides cant take it with you anyway
drsheep: No
TKRKS: Nope. Defiantly wont
Fugitoid: i hate monopoly and puppies but old ladies are great so no flip
MotUfan: I would definitely leave the switch alone. Sorry Puerto Rico.
bigbadsteve: i try to get it stuck halfway
virre: Thats like an unanswerable question. Acctualy I would have to test Puerto Rico befor I can answer that (afteral humans do tend to come back and if not, good for them)
TheKeck: No. You sicko. You sickety sick sick sicko.
jcarvin: No
matthan: You're a sick man.
DHEK: No, of course. Lives are not worth giving up to save a boardgame. Come on...
TheArchAngel: yes
Sandy Petersen: don't flip the switch. there are other fun games, and why go to Hell for Puerto Rico?
aleo09: right
jeffwolfe: Why would I do a fool thing like that?
Scotty_Bomb: I certainly wouldn't hurt the train.
rootbeer: Nah. San Juan's still around, right? BSW's still out there, right? If not, no big deal.
aramis: No, and hurt anyone I see trying to.
tomlynch: Hell no, but not because I like children or old ladies. I hate Puerto Rico.
Ivan: I roll a die. On a six I don't flip it ...
Red Dragon: It would be nice to get rid of all of those dogs-to-be, but not worth the price if it hurt even one child.
atomzero: Yes
produceguy1765: yes
discoking7: ummm...yeahhhhhh
willgreg: No
bwildrick: Having never played Puerto Rico (I know - I'm a heathen), don't flip.
troken: no
nexttothemoon: Decisions, decisions...well death to puppies and other stuff isn't a good thing generally so I think I won't flip it.
vampywife: no
Avatar_69: I do not. You can't reprint the kiddies
Gizensha: No. Pokemon Monopoly is probably the best of the Monopoly variants (ignoring Junior Monopoly). And besides, puppy dogs. It's a shame about the good game being destroyed.
ststrat: yes, no contest
andrewp: no
Helenoftroy: Runaway train, never comin' back, runaway on a one way track. Seems like we should be getting somewhere. . .
brainrob: Yes - it's only a game
kfritz: no
SatanicEssence: No. but only because If I flip it, I would be too far away to grab PR, and would most likely lose it forever anyway. Besides, old ladies are sexy.
Loquutus: ]
pgkashmir: no then you invent the game at a later date and get all the credit
richdknows: no
Tushratta: Maudlin sentimentality about puppies and old ladies should never deter one from an act that would destroy a copy of Pokemon Monopoly. The cancer must be cut out!
ZombyDawg: I don't own Puerto Rico. What do you think?
davedanger: no - destroy all Puerto Reeeeeko
tragicpoet: no, i have puerto rico... what good does that copy do me?
GI Joe: Without hesitation, yes.
obob: nope. I can name at least three people so familiar with PR that they could re-create it from scratch
mrbeankc: I'm afraid so
michaeldavidcox: No. My friends have PR.
Legend Dan: Nah. Puerto Rico can die. Is there some way to hit the old ladies too?
POvidiusNaso: Only on a Monday.
Android: I already have a copy of PR, so I don't care about the last copy. The world is over populated now, so regardless of the Pokemon Monopoly I'd send the train towards the kids. Old people are a drain on our society anyways. And if you think I'm being serious, you need to relax...
CharlieWonka: No - I would love to see a puppy playign Pokemon Monopoly - any monopoly for that matter.
Lord_Prussian: Um, no
skrutsch: No.
The Unbeliever: 42

Karlsen: No
BaSL: assuming i don't own PR?
scriptorum: Yeah, but I'd flip the switch even if I knew Puerto Rico was resting safely five feet to the left of the train tracks.
dpuskas73: No
snoozefest: n
Quest22: No
puffinge: wave goodbye to PR
ekh_86: That reminds me... L@@@K ***Pokemon Monopoly*** NEW IN SHRINK L@@K

toulouse: No. Those are some smart puppies!
midgetsrawk: kill the children!!!
Wintergoblin: no
isolated: Now while I'm not a fan of Puerto Rico I can't resist mindless carnage. So I flip the switch.
AlorielLelyn: Ohhh...pokemon monopoly...what a horrid concept. However, I am a compassionate individual and thus I do not flip the switch. Although, it might be viewed as compassionate to actually flip it, since then pokemon monopoly would be removed from the world. But still, no...Let the people live, even if in the horrors of Pokemon Monopoly...
Oborro: Removing the pokopoly set would be worth the carnage
Cavedog_pdx: Of course not. I have everything memorized and can rebuild a copy from scratch.
kennyb: of course not
