¿Question #968?
Aiken Drum: If you could go back or forward to anytime but you were not allow coming back, would you go? if so, to which time period?
MartinWin: No.
Critical Mass: no
Fennic: To my birth
jokerjesterknave: Yes.
TiwazTyrsfist: Assuming I could take my wife with me, forward to a point at which humanity had Star Trek: Next Generation grade technology. Teleporters, FTL Spaceships, and Repicators. Holodecks are optional but prefered.
Kaworu17: To that point in time when I have my flying DeLorean.
IanthePez: if I had to travel alone, I wouldn't go. If I could take my family...well, I don't think I would go anywhere.
Robrob: Now
Randy Cox: Not if I couldn't take at least my family with me, preferrably everyone I know. And then, it would be nigh impossible to get the entire group to agree on a place and time, so let's just stick with the here-and-now, 'k?
rorshaq: i particularly like the 23rd century
Hendal: yes, do I get the knowledge I know now, that would so rock
seminole: yes back 5 years so i could be rich playing the stock market
cgund: I would go back to the Fall of 2002, and I would take my bird to the vet so that he could have been treated for a condition that turned out to be fatal.
geniuslegume: Yes; 1920s Chicago.
Ebon Wendigo: Nope
kurtis: No! If you know that you are able to come back to your own, know, safe time period than going back in time or forward to see 'things' of interest would by exciting. But every time and place has had there share of bad and good times, and of disaster and troubles, wars and famines. As to the future. Of course the great unknown future...where everything is going to be better (or Orwellian worse) has that excitment quality; but without the safety of coming 'home' I am not that adventuresome.
TwirlingTF: I would jump forward to this afternoon.
XanderF: Probably forward. It's a chance (will the world still exist?), but I feel the explorer nature...
fenwic: I think I'll stick to dealing with right about now.
Wibblenut: Yes, I would go back in time to the 1980's (the Golden Age of Gaming) with a list of all the winning horses and lottery numbers...
ZeroZilla: I would gladly go forward in time until after Armageddon. On the other hand, that would mean leaving a lot of people stuck here in this cruddy time period. Is there a way I can just accelerate the time-flow instead? Kinda like what Superman did, only in reverse?
DHEK: LOL... this is yet another question that has been asked SO MANY times... Well, if I can't come back... that's gonna make it really harder to decide. I'd have to think about it because I don't want to leave the people I care about behind... But then again I really want to see how the future's like... If I do decide to go, it'll be around 150 years in the future.
aleo09: no.
blindspot: Not alone, no.

Cal Mac: Sure, back to the last big lottery draw, with the winning numbers firmly fixed in my memory.
Tim Synge: Well, presumably if I go back 20 years (to ensure that all those OOP games are available to me, I would get back here again - in 20 years time. But would I then be 42 or 62?
isolated: I wouldn't go. There's no time period that I would want to do more than visit anyway.
AlorielLelyn: I wouldn't go if I wasn't allowed to take my wife with me. If I was allowed to take her with me, I would go to a time period where there was no war. Very hard to find one of those... So probably the far future...
gnomehome: I'm pretty comfortable here.
tragicpoet: I would go, sometime in the future so I could live longer and play all the new Spiel winners
Debate: About one year into the past, after I had memorised the outcome of every major gambling opportunity I could find.

Jim_P: I'd go, as long as it was into the future... maybe 75 years
GuyHill: i quite like it here
Blackwind: no
thoia: About 15 years ago and do a few things differently.
viogression: Any, as long as I no longer have to deal with my ex-wife.

chaddyboy_2000: 2005.
onky: Future, about 10 yearts
