consolewa: I loathe the phrase "random act of kindness." There is no such thing! Random means "without method or conscious decision," and kindness is never that. "Oops, I just gave you ten bucks so you can eat a nice meal." It doesn't make sense. "Oops, I helped you across the street, old lady, without even realizing I did so."
