Harlan: Han, of course. The revised version destroys the whole point of the scene and the validity of the character, and makes no sense - how could Greedo possibly miss at that range? Maybe Federation starships are always supposed to let the bad guys fire first so there's clear reason for retaliation, but if the first shot could be the end of the battle, that's a certain path to suicide. Han tries sweet reason, Greedo aims, and Han shoots first. Doesn't make him evil, just chaotic.
