xofour: Because the search function is a tricky beast, and hardly worth the effort.
Woelf: Your question needed to be asked immediately. You couldn't spare the time it takes to click over to the search tab, enter "Super Bowl", press enter, swear at the screen (because the stupid thing doesn't work if you press enter), hit back on your browser, retype "Super Bowl", press search, and then scroll through all of the questions to see if yours had been asked already. But really, who has time for all of that?
