Is this presuming I already speak the native language, look the part (i.e., for Cambodia I look Cambodian), and do not exist in a demographic perceived negatively by the locals and government? If so, Germany probably has the most to shelter me from the horrific regime I'd be living in.

Wernazuma: That's really tough between Stalin's or Nazi regime. Definitely not in Cambodia. I fear I have to answer Hitler's Germany, probably only because I have more knowledge of how the system worked and thus maybe find a way how to survive without betraying myself.

CortexBomb: Well...it depends on my ethnicity and social class....being rather Aryan I would have done decently in Germany, but I'm also dirt poor, which was generally good in the CCCP, but I'm also a political dissident, which would get me killed in any 3 of those places...I think I would have been meat regardless
