¿Question #175?
Debate: Should BGG ban off-topic discussions?

pricero1: No - they should all be channelled into GeekQuestions.
GeoffreyB: No as long as they are respectful.
0Shea0: My cat's breath smells like catfood
oldhoss: No, but off topic discussions should be confined to off topic areas. It makes them much easier to find or ignore, should you so choose.
ssmooth: Such as, for example, discussing what constitutes an off-topic discussion?
bcooperok: Yes, we would definitely benefit from a more Taliban like administration of BGG. And no more cleavage and game box shots!

Ebonwoulfe: Hell no
AlorielLelyn: Hell no
isbert: no - just keep it labeled as such

kennyb: nah
jens_hoppe: No
Chris Schreiber: no
kimbo: No. For practical reasons, such a ban would not be enforceable. How many topic police would be required to keep the site "clean?" And who decides what is "off topic" anyway?
