shteev: Hate them. They're so ludicrously spurious. 'A man is outside in the street, and the streetlights are all broken, yet he can see'. And apparently the only answer is that it's daylight. Rubbish. Perhaps the moon is bright. Or all the cars have their headlights on. Or he has night vision goggles. Or just very good night vision. Or everything around him is covered in luminous paint. Bah Humbug.
chockle: Love them. Favorite is the "Guy goes into the bar, asks for a glass of water, and the bartender points a gun at him. Why?"
DHEK: Sometimes, when I'm in the mood. I can't think of any particularly good one that I'd call my favorite off-hand though.

Tim Synge: Er, place the plank over the pond and use the kite string and the dead hedgehog as a depth gauge?
skelebone: Are those those puzzles where you're thinking about the runoff troughs from the septic tank?
