¿Question #220859?
sparkous: There is a boardgame with rules. Is it legitimate or not to say to a player or group of players: you are not playing the game correctly, if this or these players respect the rules of the game but let's say do not play the game as other players or the designer would like?

Narlgoth: If they are playing in a way that contradicts the original rules then it would be considered as not playing by the rules!
Anfauglir: Sometimes house rules are stupid. Sometimes they make the game better.
0Shea0: I have a friend who doesn't play to win, he mainly plays to find a weakness in the mechanics and make the game awful for everyone. Anyway, thats dumb.
pricero1: It would be OK to ask them if they know that the official rules say something different. They may be interested, they may well be not. In the end, it's their choice.
