¿Question #220860?
pricero1: How well could you survive if all the power is turned off?

TomTi89: Not sure about survival, but I know I panic less about this stuff than some other people.
mattomaw: We lived without power for about 10 years.
RavingLoon: I've got enough dried/freezed emergency food for at least a year, more if I ration, less if I'm taking care of family members. Water would likely be the biggest issue (I have a well, but it requires power to run the pump).
Ruesailmana: Well enough for a short time; I have books and games and puzzles and crafts for entertainment, canned foods to eat, but only enough for a month or so, warm clothing and blankets for warmth. The food part is the biggest problem.
pwilz: I'd be okay for a few days, but I'd be in bad shape for the long term.
