¿Question #221664?
RavingLoon: If you get to about halfway through a book and decide you don't like it, do you push on or stop reading?
pricero1: In the past I'd finish it, but now I think that life is too short to waste time on things I don't enjoy or derive value from.
Woelf: Unless it's a super short book, I would have hopefully reached that conclusion well before the halfway point, or at most was using that as the cutoff point to decide for sure whether to stop after already questioning if it was worth continuing.
imyourskribe: It rarely takes me half of a book to lose interest. I’m very good at abandoning movies, books, tv shows, and video games. I do usually see board games through to the end, though
PolarDad: I'll push for a while but eventually it will get shelved
