PolarDad: We buy a new one for our tree every year. (occasionally it may be more than one but usually not) We often aim for something that represents a major event for our family that year. Others may not see the symbolism but we see the ornaments on the tree not only celebrating Christ but also telling the story of our family and how God has guided us.
